在校長和父母的深情注視下，林梓欣鄭重地接過自己的錄取通知書。“能夠從院士校長手中接過錄取通知書，我感到十分榮幸。作為新一屆廣以學子，我將不負韶華，以飽滿的熱情、踏實的態度，開啟在廣以的學習生涯，奮斗沒有終點，我會繼續努力。”林梓欣激動的心情溢于言表。
林梓欣的父母自廣以籌建初期就非常關注學校的辦學進展，他們也對孩子未來寄予厚望：“以色列理工學院是非常注重對學生思維的開發，還有創新能力，希望孩子在接受專業培訓同時，思維能力上有一個更好的提升。孩子很早之前有出國留學的意愿，我們覺得在家門口能夠享受這么頂級學校的教育，在家門口‘留學’，全英教學是一個非常好的選擇！”
“今年4月，我參加了廣以的校園開放日，聆聽了模擬課堂，還體驗了科研生活，在老師的指導下，親自操作了儀器設備。”林梓欣同學說。“從那時起，廣以成為我的目標院校之一。”廣以激發潛能、鼓勵創新的教育模式也是吸引林同學報考的重要原因，“希望在廣以突破自我，成為更好的自己。”

談及專業選擇，林同學介紹說“在高一選科時，我思考過未來的專業選擇，自己一直對生物和建筑感興趣，最后選擇了生物專業。” 他還通過多種渠道了解了廣以的專業設置，其中，生物技術與食品工程專業將工程技術研究與生命科學應用結合，具有跨學科特色，并能接觸到前沿技術和研究方向，具有開闊的科研發展前景。
林同學對未來有著清晰的規劃，“我熱愛理工科，希望未來可以繼續深造，為國家的科研事業做出一番貢獻。希望在廣以這所理工科研型大學，我能打好理工科基礎，為進一步深造做好準備，在專業領域有足夠的積淀，迎接未來更好的發展。”

成為“未來精英”培養計劃第一人
報考廣以并成為廣東省錄取成績第一名的林梓欣同學，將獲得高達60萬元的校長獎學金，還將成為“未來精英”培養計劃第一人，獲得包括知名學者一對一指導、大一進入科研團隊、強力推薦信在內的訂制化培養方案。
該項計劃面向學科基礎優秀、學習能力突出、創新思維活躍、科研興趣濃厚的優秀學子，為他們提供專門化、專業化的人才培養高級平臺，讓每一位有熱情、有能力、有毅力的優秀理工學子在廣以踏上學習和成長的快車道。
在各省（市、區）高考排名前2%的學生可直接入選本計劃，廣以在校的優秀學生亦可申請進入。本計劃的主要培養特色包括：諾貝爾獎得主、中國科學院院士等全球知名學者將直接擔任學生專門導師，為學生提供專業學習、能力發展、科研引領等方面的一對一輔導和規劃；學生自大一下學期可進入導師的科研團隊、科研實驗室進行學習和工作，及早了解和適應高水平研究工作的模式和氛圍；在申請研究生階段，學生將獲得強有力的推薦信。優秀學生在畢業時可直接保送以色列理工學院或廣東以色列理工學院的研究生。研究生在讀期間學費全免，另有豐厚的獎學金。

2022.7.25, Guangdong Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) issued its No. 001 acceptance letter for 2022 undergraduates.
Prof. Gong Xingao, Chancellor of GTIIT and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), distributed the letter to Lin Zixin, an incoming student from Chaoyang Experimental School. For Lin, this is a remarkable present, which will lead him to the academic world of Biotechnology and Food Engineering (BFE), and make him the first member of “GTIIT Undergraduate Elite Program”.

Lin's parents have been focusing on the development of GTIIT since its establishment. They also gave their best wishes for Lin's future. "The Technion attaches great importance to the development of students' abilities of critical-thinking and innovation. “I participated in GTIIT’s Open Day in April, listening to lectures and trying to operate instruments in labs,” said Lin, “Since then, GTIIT becomes one of my dream schools.” The university’s innovative instruction mode also attracts him. “I will work hard and make constant progress.”

Considering the program he chose, Lin shared his thoughts, “I am interested in biology and architecture, and finally follow my passion to choose BFE.” Before this determination, he gathered information on programs in GTIIT through various channels, and found that BFE has interdisciplinary features and access to cutting-edge technologies and directions. Top Student to Win Chancellor’s Scholarship– He is the First Student in “GTIIT Undergraduate Elite Program”
Lin Zixin wins the Chancellor’s Scholarship of up to 600,000 RMB and will be the first student enrolled in the “GTIIT Undergraduate Elite Program”, which has benefits including being able to assign a leading faculty member or teacher as a personal mentor, join the mentor’s research group after the first semester and receive recommendations when applying for postgraduate studies.
The Program proposes to provide excellent students with a specialized and professional platform for high-level talent cultivation, so that each outstanding STEM student can embark on the fast track of learning and growth in GTIIT.
High school students ranked in the top 2% of their province’s Gaokao, as well as GTIIT undergraduate students in the VC’s or the Dean’s Lists can apply to the Program. The features of the program include:
(1)Leading faculty members and teachers from GTIIT will be assigned to or chosen by each participating student as a personal mentor;
(2)Elite students can join their mentor’s research group after the first semester;
(3)Elite students will benefit from their supervisors and school support and recommendations when applying for postgraduate studies;
(4)Elite students will be offered postgraduate direct program admission to the graduate school of both GTIIT and Technion with full scholarship.
The admissions process of 2022 is in the final stage. The scale of this year is basically the same as that of 2021-2022, while the quality of students has improved significantly. The delivery of acceptance letters will start in this week.
